#1: The three photos above I feel are my strongest. The far left because I love the illusion it brings and it makes the reflection of the seagull stand out more than it would have with the picture being right side up because it's part of the main focus now. The middle photo is also one of my strongest because with me shooting it from below it makes the boots look more pleasurable, mighty and larger. I also love the lighting in the back with the blue sky because it just adds pop and color to the picture. The far right photo is in my top three because I like how the sunglasses are in full focus and the face is some what blurred. I also like the concept of the glasses being off but still looking like they're where they should be.
#2: To make the far left photo more interesting, I flipped the photo upside-down to accentuate the reflection of the seagull from the water. I think this makes it more interesting because its a different perspective than what the original photo would have been and that makes it more unique. To make the middle photo more interesting I shot from below to make the boots feel and look mighty and more important than they would be with a straight on picture. I also made sure there was enough sunlight to reflect on the boots but still look noticeable. To make the far right photo more interesting I made sure the glasses were the right distance from the models face to make them look like they could actually be on him. I also made the photo brighter to help with the idea of wearing sunglasses on a sunny day.
#3: I learned a lot of new techniques from this assignment. I learned that not all photos have to be straight on to make them look appealing. I also saw the world in a different way whether tall or small and that was really interesting to me. I learned that I can play around with my pictures by editing them different ways and flipping them around even. This assignment really opened my eyes in the world of photography.
